Hello everyone, I wanted to discuss what I learned while writing my second draft of my main novel, The Puzzle of Shadows. While editing this version, I realized how much my writing has improved sense I started the book three years ago. I will wait one month before I return to edit it, so I can go back with fresh eyes. I will use November and NaNoWriMo to start writing a new novel which is going to be very different than this one. I learned how to give characters different voices and tone by using different word choice, so on the third draft I will be adding more personality for the different characters and I will also be filling any plot holes that I can see. That is my goals for the next two months when it comes to my writing.
