I had an amazing reading month this October! Three out of the five books that I read this month was five stars.

The first book I finished this month was one I had to finish for my English class, The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood. I gave that book a four and half stars, which is still a good rating , but I feel as if it took almost half way through to get to the main plot. I did enjoy learning about the society and how women had to sneak anything extra if they wanted it.

The second book I read was The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, which I gave a five star rating. It was a mystery novel that followed a "Broken" main character which was different from what I usually read. The major reason its a five star read is because of the twist at the end.

The third book I read this month was Blink by Malcolm Gladwell, which was my worst read of the month, with a rating of two stars. This book was really repetitive and everything was over explained and the language was really bland. The actually book was about how people really think and how your bias can effect your life.

The fourth book I read this month was my favorite out of all of them, it was Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry, which got a full five stars. My favorite part about this book was all of the representation in the characters. The main character we followed was an atheist. This group of friends also has a Jewish boy that is gay, a female catholic and many other different characteristics. This story is mainly about an atheist that gets put into a catholic school.

The final book I read this month was Renegades by Marissa Meyer, which I gave a five out of five stars to. This book was really well written and it was written by the same author who wrote the Lunar Chronicles. I'll give a brief explanation because I already wrote a book review on this novel. This book follows an anarchist,Nova, who joins the Renegades so she can spy on them.

Thank you for sticking around for this long if you have.
