My Writing Goals/Updates

Hello Guys, this is going to be a short post discussing what I’m working on in my writing. This may not be the most exciting post but I’m hoping it will pull together the people in the writing community.

I’m going to start with my writing updates… because it is actually a good update. I started writing again (says the writer). When I was getting back into writing after a long break from it I started writing a poetry collection, but all of them are hand written right now so I need to type a few out to see where I should place them. The next project that I had started is This is not a Love Story, which I haven’t written in a while, but I do hope to start working on it again after I’m done with some of my other projects. The final thing that I am working on currently is an untitled story, but right now I’m calling it the Assassins Story. This is one of my main projects and it is still in the zero draft but I have been putting it in the first draft after I hand write a few pages. Those are some of my writing projects and I know I haven’t given any descriptions of any of them but I’ll do more of that when I finish the first draft of them.

Some of my writing goals are trying to write everyday and if I can’t do that I really don’t want to go more than a week without writing something. My second goal is to try to focus on these three stories and not start a new one until I finish at least one of them. My third goal is to focus more on character development through my novels. My final goal that I want to focus on is learning more about the craft of writing, which I can do by listening to more writers.

Those are my updates and writing goals! How are you guys doing in your writing? Are you more of a writer or are you strictly a reader? Let me know!
